Our Policies[]

Minimum Wage - The socialist Party aims to establish a viable and fair national minimal wage in order to abolish wage slavery and the exploitation of workers for the cheap production of goods.

Public Healthcare - The Socialist Party aims to establish a National Health Service which insures that all citizens are able to claim affordable healthcare regardless of social or economic status.

Immigration - The Socialist Party supports the legal Immigration of persons who are seeking asylum from political, religious or other persecution with the condition that said individual can prove they are being persecuted.

Public Housing - The Socialist party aims to provide a good standard of public housing for those who are homeless, public housing will only be provided to those who are prevented from working due to health or other circumstances.

Education - The Socialist party understands the importance of public education and aims to provide high quality public schooling for all children regardless of social or economic status, education is compulsory until Year 10.

Pensions - The Socialist Party aims to introduce reasonable pensions for the elderly or disabled which would allow them to pay for any living expenses.

Energy - The Socialist Party understands the importance of renewable energy for the sake of the environment and future generations and aims to replace the dependence on fossil fuels with new clean and renewable energy sources over time.

Defence - The Socialist Party understands the importance of maintaining a strong defence force to protect the sovereign territory of /pol/, whilst also following non-interventionist ideals when it comes to international politics, the armed forces of /pol/ are reserved for use when defending the personal interests of /pol/ and are to be well funded and equipped.

Homosexuality - The socialist party respects the rights of homosexual members of society to marry a member of the same sex, a marriage between two homosexuals is to have the same rights as that between a man and a woman.

Religion - The Socialist Party considers all religious institutes as private organizations and will not offer funding or political support to any one religious organization, religions which are considered hateful or dangerous are considered illegal, private schools with a particular religious affiliation are prohibited.

State Owned Enterprise - State owned businesses in areas of agriculture and production as well as other sectors will help to raise revenue for the state.

Taxation - As a result of the policies introduced by the Socialist Party, an important part of the philosophy of the Socialist Party is a reasonably high taxation rate, a high taxation rate enables us to introduce free public education, healthcare and other public services and evens out the gap between the poorest citizens and richest citizens.
